Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself."  - Rumi

I love to be touched and love to touch. As I learnt in my thai massage training that the hands are the extensions of the heart I than knew for sure and long before, I want to do something with my hands. Exchanging energies: giving and recieving at the same time. I noticed , when I give a massage I always get so much energy in return. I really love to be on service in that way.

Two trainings chased each other: the first one is the Abyanga Intensiv ayurvedic massage training I did in my home country with Sonja Graul .

Abhyanga is a separate type of massage technique that gently relaxes and cleanses the body. Special oils are used to increase the effect of the massage – they include medicinal plants and other natural components, having a beneficial impact on the human body .

The Abyanga Ayurvedic massage is a full body massage (feet, legs, arms, hands, shoulders, neck, back and belly). It is like a dance around the massage table. Two hands that are separated by the friend's body by the warm oil. A deep relaxing method which I especially combine with some little rituals.

My beginning ritual is a smutching the body ritual. My intention in this ritual is to welcome my friend at my place and purify his spirit.

Another ritual is, when I finish the massage, I cover my friend's body and leave him/her in deep final relaxation based on guidance of some of my special instruments ( Sansula, Hangdrum or maracas...)

This massage I especially suggest to offer it in autumn , winter and spring time, whilst the climate is still chilly and the weather conditions are still turning us to go inwards.

Practical aspects:

  • Please bring 3 big towels and the art of falling inwards and going to a personal journey.

The second massage training I have done this year together with my beloved husband , was Thai Yoga Massage. We followed a training in Belgium under the guidance of Thierry Bienfaisant.

Thai Massage , like taught by Thierry , is based on the 4 buddhic brahma viharas:

  • Metta ~ loving kindness
  • Karuna ~ compassion
  • Mudita ~ sympathetic joy
  • Upekkha ~ equanimity

In this unique healing system of Thai Yoga Massage, also called Nuad Boran, the practitioner guides the client through a series of yoga postures, while palming and thumbing along the body’s energy (‘Sen’) lines and pressure points. Together these actions result in a comprehensive full body treatment that relieves muscular tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically.

My first experience in giving a thai massage was like coming home, doing something I have to share with others. I remember during the first training day, pure joy was running through me whilst giving this massage.

For me it is an act of pure passion of giving and receiving. I always feel so good after a session.

What I really like about this technique, is that I can travel around the globe with it. If I have a good ground , I can give a massage to anyone who want to receive. Children, women, men, old persons,...

Practical aspects:

  • Thai Yoga Massage is performed on a mat on the floor
  • I suggest you to wear comfortable clothes allowing ease of movement and flexibility.
  • I do not offer thai massage on an injured body or whilst acute health problems.

Massage Studio:

Ettelbruck, 44 Avenue Salentiny

Both of my "treats" are based on a well-being-intention.

I am not trained in clinical nor therapeutical massages.

My intention is to give a gentle and firm touch from my hara and my heart. I want to touch you with my hands and sounds. If you can relax and let go of ideas for a period of a session, I am more than satisfied.

My trainings

2016 - Abyanga Intensiv at Ayurvedahouse Luxemburg with Sonja Graul

2017 - Thai Massage Training with Thierry Bienfaisant

I understand my learnings as a life-long process and see myself as a life-long student. I always come with a beginner mind and will continue to stay updated and fresh in my knowledge by following more and more massage trainings and workshop.

"You were born with potential.
You were born with goodness and trust.
You were born with ideals and dreams.
You were born with wings.
You are not meant for crawling, so don't.
You have wings. Learn to use them and fly."
